Later acquired by the Siekmann family in 2000, the new ownership combined Merit’s traditions of fine cabinetry and superior standards with new technological advances in manufacturing and production. All of their products are still built in their state-of-the-art facility in British Columbia, starting with the best raw materials and accentuating their natural beauty while adding today’s required functionality.
Lectus cabinets are known for their being understated, smart, authentic, and attractive. Their goal when developing their products is to create a piece that looks great, performs well, and costs less than what is expected. Every Lectus cabinet is built with a time-tested approach to cabinet construction and finishing. Produced by Merit Kitchens, Lectus was launched in 2012 as a way to give discerning homeowners a value driven approach that balances price, quality, and choice.
